Because we only care for one guest dog at a time, we want to make sure it’s a good match — for your dog, our dogs, and our home. Here’s how the process works:
Check the requirements
We’re able to care for dogs that are:
- Small (35 pounds or less)
- Healthy, and up to date on vaccinations (we’ll ask for vet documentation)
- Free from fleas, ticks, and contagious illness
- Friendly with people and with other dogs
- House-trained
- Comfortable being handled
- Able to relax in a home environment

Meet and greet
Once we’ve reviewed your application, we’ll set up a time for your dog to meet us and our dogs at our home. It’s a low-pressure visit that lets everyone — dogs included — get comfortable before the actual stay.
